The notation used in the srk/sc page for kof 98og is what I personally call Shorthand notation. Examples:
st. A, cl. B, cr. C, j. D, qcf + P, dp + K
For motions like hcb, f + P and d, d + K I would recommend not using commas (write as hcb f + P and d d + K) for the sake of reserving them for combo writing.
For air specials write as like j. qcf + K.
If the notation is to represent two or more buttons pressed at once I recommend using pluses but in some one letter button games it's ok not to. Examples:
j. CD, ABCD, qcb + HP+LK
For sequence inputs (a la Raging Demon) just use spaces. (LP LP f LK HP)
For charge inputs use parenthases or brackets to represent hold. In the case of release a button use reverse parenthases/brackets. Examples:
(b) f + P, [d] u + K, [P] ]P[
Like I said I call this shorthand but I can understand why there's many names cause really the only standardized notation right now is numpad.
